• Air District on the HOT SEAT about CASS pollution
• CASS agrees to meet to discuss concerns
Join your neighbors who are organizing to get Custom Alloy Scrap Sales (CASS) to be a good neighbor and take action to reduce its air pollution, noise, blight and safety problems.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1) If you smell chemical or metallic odors, call the City of Oakland 24 hour Complaint line: (510)444-3322 & Bay Area Air Quality Management District odor complaint line at (800)334-6367 and request a copy of their investigation
2) Keep a log sheet of odor, noise and safety issues you witness and bring the sheets to meetings so they can be compiled
3) Spread the word about theses issues to your family neighbors and friends
